Every day convinces me more and more that there is genuinely nothing redeeming in any respect about social media. Nothing. It serves no legitimate purpose. Mix in mentally frail/imbalanced/weak users and the recipe is disastrous.
People are so dang shallow these days. Why do they post their lives on social media? Are people really so insecure that they need validation from the general public? Come on. Everyone needs to step up and have self confidence enough not to post these "look at me" videos and pics. I was thinking I wouldn't say anything about this girl after I saw she has an autistic son on her instagram (again, something nobody needs to know online), but since she put it out there, maybe I can discourage her from posting any more. Your hair looks like it got caught in the lawnmower, you obviously have some mental problems, your husband looks like a psych ward patient and you are the only one in your family who looks like they eat healthy. Lord forgive me and stay off the internet.
