Exactly. I am sorry to repeat myself, but until the U gets a stadium back in Dade Country and as RUPete reminded me, its like us playing in Giant Stadium. The job isn't close to what it was.

You always take the call even if you have zero intention in leaving. Strong isn't leaving Texas for the U.

Texas looks to be favored in 4 out of their last 5 games. Question is what a 7-4 record and a bowl would do with respect to recruiting, his ongoing relationships with HS coaches in Texas and his status as a non-Texan outsider. Remember, the recruiting AND admissions environments at Miami are not the same as they were from 1983-2003.

The timing wasn't right for Charlie Strong. He ended up at Texas where he doesn't belong. The Miami job would have been perfect for him. If Miami reaches out to CS I would skip town in a heartbeat.
