The Bucks were sold in 2014 for 550 million. They are being sold just 9 years later for 3.5 billion.

Pretty good thing owning a sports team. And that is in Milwaukee. Can you imagine what the real value of the Knicks are??

Best of Luck,

I imagine that anyone paying that will move them. Seattle? Nashville? Vegas? St. Louis? Tampa? New Jersey?

Not before the NBA decides on its next round of expansion. Vegas and Seattle rumored to be the favorites. Those are likely to cost more than the Bucks franchise.

NBA is gonna double their TV revenue in next negotiation according to SBJ people. Super Max deals are gonna be biggest contracts in sports again.

The nhl is so far behind the nba I can’t take this post seriously. Nhl is closer to the mls than the nba.
we'll have to agree to disagree on the NHL.

I live in Denver, we have the #1 NBA team in the west and it plays second fiddle to the Avalanche.

NHL is the only sport of the 5 major sports with year over year tv viewership decreases. Over 20% reduction.

Do I really have to post this again? I had others too. Why do people make easily refuted "statements of fact"?

While this is factually correct if including TV plus digital content, it’s disingenuous because it’s not accounting for operational changes solely attributed to moving Thursday night football off cable to exclusively digital.

+3 % increase for nfl across all year over year linear platforms.

So in a conversation about popularity/interest overall tv ratings wouldn’t be an appropriate measure without addressing those changes while same tv spots year over year increased. In addition all Primetime cable spots showed year over year increases.
