Trying to find some good music to add to my library. I'd love some artist recommendations that are similar to James Taylor, America, John Fogerty, Dr. Hook, Orleans, CCR, Eagles, John Denver. In other words, some good 70's and 80's soft rock artists that I haven't thought of I guess.

Dire Straits. Basically anything Mark Knopfler touches.

I say them based on your names above. Atlanta Rhythm Section too. Obviously fleetwood mac but I think dire straits is one of the most underrated bands ever. Sure, Mark cant sing for **** but brothers in arms is a classic album everyone should own.

I dont listen to a lot of "soft" stuff but that dude has my respect.

Newer band from europe youd probably like. Theyre called The Scams. You probably wont be able to find any of their music online but they have that sound and are excellent.
