Dick Butkus
O.J. Simpson
Gale Sayers
I think Brett Favre and Joe Montana are really good QB names also
Tiger Woods. OFC
Hammerin' Hank Aaron
Honus Wagner
Mickey Mantle
Joe DiMaggio
He didn't pan out for Michigan but I thought Tate Forcier was an awesome name for a dual-threat QB.

Sky will like this and hopefully Jim Sumner as well as Yankee guys. Never by any means known for his bat, it was still a great baseball name:
Gene "Stick" Michael- like I said never remember him as a hitter, Gene was an excellent defensive SS. He was on the thin side weight wise, hence "Stick." OFC
Clinton Haha-Dix
Dizzy Dean. His fastballs made batters dizzy, so the saying goes.
This one's a bit unorthodox but Tinker-Evers-Chance (Tinker to Evers to Chance) is such a great linking of a famous double-play combination trio. It's referenced in a poem called 'Baseball's Sad Lexicon'.
