At first I was just thinking how awesome this would be from a standpoint of simply being able to have wifi access across the country, but this could really be game changing. I don't know what portion of cell phone company revenue data plans represent, but it has to be a huge chunk. This move would essentially make their 3G/4G networks worthless for many people.
