As MSU continues to build new buildings on campus and I keep hearing about Allen eventually going away has anyone heard about the style of the building that might come to replace something in the middle of campus? I'm a fan of Swalm mirroring Lee but I was looking at some old MSU pics today and the (what I will call original) Academic building has a pretty unique look<div>

</div><div>Maybe we could put up a modern inside but this look exterior for the administration to live in as a nod to the past. Thoughts?</div><div>
</div><div>I'm also curious if there have been any new aerials of campus in the last few years, I graduated in 02 which is before McCool and Union redo, new Hand lab, Montgomery wasn't completely done, all sorts of stuff along the drill field was in progress and I think it would be interesting to see it from above now.</div>

the whereabouts of the stupid MFer that designed the USS Hunter Henry, and then set up on him with a 50 cal on a tripod, and then squeeze off a money shot. The thoughts of another debacle like that happening makes my stomach hurt.

you say ROTC and it makes me think if Patterson next to it still looks as bad as it did 4 or 5 years ago. Seems like at least a facade could spruce up Engineering Row

I think Dorman Hall needs to go or at the very least be totally gutted and remodeled to look more like the Student Union Building and what the MSU Stadium expansion architectural design looks like due to its location in the middle of the Junction where everyone sees it when coming on campus for football games. Dorman is still an outdated ugly red brick building that is an eyesore for all to see on gamedays. I would love to see us do something with Dorman in the future to make it blend in with the architectual design of the new stadium expansion or else just demo it and turn it into more green space.

That's one of the oldest buildings on campus and has been the ROTC headquarters building throughout. It is getting a renovation--which it needed badly--but the building itself is a campus tradition.
