Hi Southern!

It is indeed me. I live in Dunedin, which is toward the south end of the South Island. I would be more than happy to provide friendly advice and suggestions for your friends. Email me at jeffreyksmith which is a gmail account.

It is such a small world isn't it?

I gave Bob and Sharon your email address. Bob was the logistics manager for the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute(CARTI) in Little Rock. He and Sharon are from Harrisburg, PA originally and have retired there now.

I have no idea IF they will contact you, but I hope that they do!

Thanks for whatever hospitality that you may show them.
Sincerely,
Southern Gentleman

Skillet, I too am heading there is a couple of weeks -- South Island to Queenstown, Tianu, Franz Josef, Christchurch and Wellington. If you don't mind will keep your info handy in case you can provide some recommendations in those areas.

rucoe Shoot me an email. I can give you all sorts of good recommendations, starting with spending as little time in Christchurch as possible (used to be boring, now it is boring and under construction!). But the rest of your itinerary is spot on.

Thanks, Skillet! Will do. Only one night (after drive from Franz Josef) in Christchurch before heading to Wellington for 2 days before flying out.
