They were neighbors of mine in Little Rock, Arkansas and dear friends. Now they live in Harrisburg, PA but are visiting NZ this month along with Australia.

I backpacked new zealand in March..absolutely LOVED it. North Island is really nice but South Island is INCREDIBLE!!

I gave Bob and Sharon your email address. Bob was the logistics manager for the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute(CARTI) in Little Rock. He and Sharon are from Harrisburg, PA originally and have retired there now.

rucoe Shoot me an email. I can give you all sorts of good recommendations, starting with spending as little time in Christchurch as possible (used to be boring, now it is boring and under construction!). But the rest of your itinerary is spot on.
