I’m planning to buy a new bow after the first of the year. I’ll likely ask for some accessories or a new target. But otherwise, I’ve got no ideas.

To make it sports related, I already asked for a new football coach but we don’t have the buyout money at my house.

What do you have new that you can’t live without SPS? Also, I expect some jackass replies.

All of that "pop up" shock corded together crap is a "bi-tch to fold up". I was given a front windshield sun screen that is supposed to fold up "with a flick of the wrist", horsesh-it. It's like herding cats in a dog pound trying to fold that stuff up

I can't even think of what I want/need for Christmas. I'm apparently so successful, I just get what I want when I want it. Or alternatively I'm so wrapped up in work and kids that I have no life of my own currently. Surely it's the former though.***

Hopefully it is both/and. Then when the kids get off the payroll, you might get lucky like me and buy a truck for yourself that is at least in the same decade as the cars you bought for your wife and kids...

what kind are you looking at? I haven't bought new clubs in a decade (or two). With all the new tech I see other people using, my old taylor mades make me feel like I'm playing with 70's blades and persimmons these days.

Not really sure. Always played Callaway irons but gonna go somewhere and get a professional opinion.

I have never bought a new golf club. eBay and FB Marketplace. It may take me six months to a year to put a complete set together. It’s almost as much fun as playing golf.

I think Crazycotton recommended the Fox Alien CNC machine to me a couple months back, now the 80W laser attachment would be a nice addition!

I just bought a set of used callaway AI smokes in mint condition off the callaway certified pre owned website. Driver, 3 wood, 4 hybrid and 5 though AW for a right at 1000 bucks after my trade in credit for my old clubs. Retail and brand new is for suckers.

I’ve had used ones a long time but bought a new set about 6 years ago

I play 50+ plus rounds a year so I get my use out of them

gonna give my nephew my current set

Or people with plenty of money and not a lot of expenses.

I already got a Potensic Atom 2 Drone Fly More package. It is sitting under the tree and I can't open it until Christmas. I played with a DJI Mavic 2 and enjoyed it and the pictures and movies you can get are cool. The one thing I wanted to avoid the whole FAA registration so I found the the Atom 2 is under the 250 grams and I am not a pro so it seems to be a good choice for me.

I wouldn’t mind having a Craftsman 20v wet/dry vac. I’ve got a couple of those products already, and batteries.
Our Dyson stick vac is on the tail end of usefulness, too (already replaced the battery once) and I’ve thought about replacing it with a Craftsman.
Mentioned to my wife the other day I want a new Xbox controller. Preferably a distinctive design that subtly says “This one’s Dad’s.” I don’t see that happening, though- that’s not a habit she tends to encourage.
Honestly some nice winter socks. And on the subject of footwear, I wouldn’t turn down a new pair of Hoka Bondi. I like those shoes but I hate paying for them. They wear out in no time flat (I’m not a runner, I just mean wearing them casually).

I’m bad about buying something when I want it, so I know I’m a PITA to shop for.

I used to buy off color PlayStation controllers when my kids were around to make sure they didn't abuse mine.
