Jack did not play much
Thanks.Jack was injured, confirmed by Lindy after the game. Lindy didn't wanna play him, but Jack refused to sit.
Hopefully something he can recover from this summer and nothing serious
Lack of toughness wasn't the issue. A lack of size and playoff experience/composure did the Devs in. This team has the potential to be VERY good. Just not there yet.Was a fun year. Tough way to lose. Team needs some toughness. Hopefully better things ahead !
I thought Haula was excellent throughout the playoffs. I had opposite thought on Hamilton.Glass half full, not only did the Devils WIN a round, the way things went Fitzgerald had to see what we are still deficient in. Again not a direct comparison but, the Tampa Bay Lightning got swept their first playoffs, with this current group.
In the playoffs, you must be strong enough to create your own time and space. The Devils even with Timo and misused Lazar, were not able to do this consistently.
Tom Fitzgerald has another advantage, so many guys who didn't show up, are now either UFA or RFA. One of the few I hope gets resigned is Haula, a leader who cares. Trade Bratt, let the finesse big guy Graves walk with the likes of Severson, Wood, and Tatar. Last thing, don't sign Dumba.
YES, Haula like most of the Devils, got out muscled against Carolina. Hamilton is big and strong enough, but he is a pretty boy finesse player.I thought Haula was excellent throughout the playoffs. I had opposite thought on Hamilton.
LOL traded within the division.
He was probably going to sign with CBJ anyway.LOL traded within the division.
I think Fitz envisions the Devils feasting on his turnovers. That is surprising
Columbus acquired a top defense pair from within the division this week
Most definitely. Now we have a 3rd round pick, great. He was probably going to sign with CBJ anyway.
For every good play…he made two bad ones.I’ll put this here since the NHL playoffs are still active
Devils sign and trade Severson to. Columbus for a 3rd Round draft pick
Damon never reached the potential I thought he could have but he gave us quite a few good memories in addition to poor play.
Hamilton is a horrible Defenseman, as in Defense.YES, Haula like most of the Devils, got out muscled against Carolina. Hamilton is big and strong enough, but he is a pretty boy finesse player.
YES, he is paid for offense. I would put either Seiganthaler or Bahl with him for this reason.Hamilton is a horrible Defenseman, as in Defense.
Bahl played his best when paired with DougieYES, he is paid for offense. I would put either Seiganthaler or Bahl with him for this reason.
Twin Towers represented!Bahl played his best when paired with Dougie
Bahl and the pick they used on Dawson Mercer were what came back from the Yotes in the Taylor Hall trade. That one worked out really well for the Devils.Like Bahl!
Yeah and they also got a 3rd round pick in that trade, which was later traded for Siegenthaler. Going back further, the Devils got Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson. So essentially they turned Adam Larsson into an MVP season from Taylor Hall and then Mercer, Bahl, and Siegenthaler.Bahl and the pick they used on Dawson Mercer were what came back from the Yotes in the Taylor Hall trade. Wasn’t there a HUGE defenseman we got from that trade too?Yeah and they also got a 3rd round pick in that trade, which was later traded for Siegenthaler.
