When my dogs had Bulldog puppies, I was worried all the time about the owls in my back forest swooping in for an easy meal. I kept them in an open top pen and I can hear the owls hooting all night long. Some of them were huge with incredible wing spans.
There aren’t many sounds sweeter than a barred owl sounding off in a hardwood bottom on a cool spring or fall morning.
Maybe just one, a gobbling turkey.

Must be rough times in the aviary if she’s resorted to being a cam-owl.
Owls are really fascinating birds. They’re also a bit goofy at times. There’s a lady up here that rehabs alot of owls that get hit by cars mostly.
