Anyone watching Outlander Season 3 on Netflix? I’m through 2 episodes and it seems to be setting for the same old story - Scottish lad in prison and pining away for English lady. English lady pining away for Scottish lad. Does it deviate at all?

Yep, we’ve watched through season 4 and I don’t want to give any spoilers but it gets better.

Season 3 did seem like they were just dragging along but I thought season 4 was pretty good, once they get to America.

Season 5 coming up should have some pretty good twist and turns as well.

The "what Jamie did in the ten years after Culloden for several episodes" story in season 3 was a lot better than the "let's dick around in Paris for several episodes" story

It gets more interesting later. And pay attention to all the 'irrelevant' details.
