I haven't been to an away Egg Bowl in about 12 years for a variety of different reasons. I've got an Auburn friend who's going this weekend and he asked me about visiting tailgating, trying to squeeze into the grove or not, parking, etc. He'll be arriving around noon for that 6pm kickoff. I didn't have any answers.

He's actually a decent and recent Auburn fan via his fiance. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I always get there early and park on Taylor road down by their baseball stadium. If you can do this, there is enough grass in most spots to tailgate by your car. I've never attempted to set up in the Grove, just because I don't want the hassle of taking it down after the game. There is also a pay lot right when you get on Taylor from Hwy 6 that usually has a bunch of State fans tailgating in it. We were a little late two years ago and had to end up doing that pay lot and it worked out great.

Take HWY 6 and the Taylor Road exit.

I am married to a Rebel and go to at least one game a year there..

If you get here soon enough you can park in the lot behind the baseball field for free.
Most visiting teams tailgate there, you turn in behind the music building and go down the hill.

Otherwise park in the lot right by Hwy6 on Taylor Road(its a pay lot).

I would not even attempt to tailgate in the Grove. Go walk through if you want and you can make some friends..
