A few days ago I read a headline that one or more NFL playoff games would be streamed only on Peacock. No news since. Anybody know if this is true?

So true.Streaming on Peacock is just another glaring example of corporate greed. I'll never use it.

This. You have people complaining to all end about $6 a month but pay a $300 cable bill for the Knitting Channel and have no problem with that.Dear god the whining is laughable. If you’re that cheap don’t watch. I dumped Verizon 2 years ago and have U tube tv, peacock, prime & Netflix. My bill is still less than before. Not to mention I stream the Outlaws and have Flo racing.
Peacock will be getting more and more B1G content as the contract goes on.
Bill Simmons said NBC/Peacock paid $250 million to the NFL to stream this game. Folks in KC and Miami will get the game showed on a local channel.
I'm hoping the Dolphins beat the Chiefs so we don't have to see shots of her in the luxury suite for the rest of the playoffs. NFL games will continue to be the most watched programming on TV long after Taylor Swift drops Travis Kelce like a Patrick Mahomes pass at a crucial point in the game. The Taylor Swift effect?
My issue with Peacock is less about the cost but more the user interface. With YouTube TV, if I'm watching something that I recorded, I can use the remote to fast forward in 15 second increments. So, for example, if I want to skip forward during a timeout, just fast forward exactly 15 or 30 seconds. It works great. But if I'm on Peacock and try to do the same thing, the slowest fast forward setting is way too fast and its not measured. The amount of time you spend trying to get 30 seconds ahead takes longer than if you just sat there for 30 seconds. Anybody else dealing with this? I tried googling it but didn't find any solution.
Or not.Might be more enjoyable to watch Taylor Swift videos on YouTube.
Which one do you have? I pay 35 per month for my 3 sets. Do you get a lot of buffering?Iptv. $50-100/year, every channel in the world, including pay preview, nfl/mlb package, etc. That’s the way to stick it to the man. I’ll be watching the local KC broadcast Saturday night from California just as I was watching local Philly news this morning to check on the weather.
Yeah streaming just sucksI finally broke down and got Peacock this fall for the EPL games.
Their picture quality pisses all over ESPN+ and Amazon for streaming sports.
Here's your choices.Agreed.
Big Ten and Rutgers should give back money and remove all games from "streaming subscription services".
Actually, they should give back all the media money.
Games on ESPN or BTN or Fox Sports ("cable subscription services") is just another glaring example of corporate greed.
Air the games for free on broadcast channels.
Right, guys???
I have iptv Smarters. Some buffering issues here and there, mostly with RedZone. I switched to the UK feed and it’s perfect. I’ve also found that if I pause my son’s Xbox, the buffering issues go away. I’m paying $50 per year.Which one do you have? I pay 35 per month for my 3 sets. Do you get a lot of buffering?
