I am planning a family reunion for this summer. We will be staying on the Bama side of Perdido Pass. I know the normal places, but looking for some new places to eat. Anyone got any recommendations? Also anyone want to recommend a fishing charter?

Not sure if you know of this place or not

but Cobalt is a pretty good restaurant. Hang a left right as you get on the other side of the bridge and go down that little side road. Great restaurant, there's a little marina out back, and it's right on the beach. Nice little area back there.

If you don't mind a little drive, Cactus Flower in Pensacola (the one in warrington is close to perdido pass) is a great Mexi-Cali restaurant. They have a shredded beef quesadilla that is phenomenal.

Cosmos on Canal in orange beach is excellent, Big Fish in good also. If you don't mind a little drive for a more local place, go to The Tin Top back up 59 toward Foley and take a left on county 10 I think. Best tuna steak I have ever had. Have to eat the sautéed crab claws at Wintzells at least once.

Tin Top in the Bon Secour area is the best place to go hands down. It is about a 25 minute drive from perdido.

Agree on Tin Top. Cosmos in OB is second. Try the Gulf for lunch since you are on Perdido Key. At west end of Perdido Pass bridge, overlooking the pass.

Fisherman's Corner under the bridge on the east end of the Key (Florida side). It's a 4 star restaurant in a double wide. Look it up...read the reviews. Outstanding seafood dishes. We eat there every trip down and have never been disappointed.

Fisherman's Corner is GREAT. Looks a little shady, but is really some of the best food I've had down there. Another great option (but not very close to Perdido) is the Wash House in Fairhope. It's one of my favorite restaurants anywhere.

Keep heading east to great beaches, real restaurants, and no bama redneck bama fans.

We are heading back there this summer as well. We fished with Capt. Don McPherson last year. He has two boats at Zeke's Marina, a 36' Hatteras and a 46' Hatteras. We did both bottom fishing and trolling. Caught a ton of fish. http://getawaygulffishing.com/
