Larry Taylor, a banker and financial investments adviser in central Mississippi, is having major heart surgery Tuesday morning.
This is his second such surgery in the last five years. They are going to rebuild a deteriorating valve and redirect blow flow. This is a tricky procedure but Larry has had heart problems for the last 10 or so years, so he is used to it. He knew this surgery was coming, but it happened about two or three years quicker than expected.
He is a great father, great family man and also tough as a rock.
Larry graduated from MSU in 1979. He and his wife Jane have three children.
The middle son is named "Champ" Taylor. His roommate is Dylan Childs. Dylan called and asked that I post this. So if you can please pass this prayer request along to you and your friends that would be great, especially if you know either Larry, Jane, Champ or the other children.
Champ is a sophomore majoring in Finance. According to Dylan, he is the "chosen one." He has a 4.0 GPA and is doing really well in the school. Let's hope his dad has a quick recovery.
