that was hilarious.

"Stand up Big Boy".

And then some kid needed an attitude adjustment. That was ironic.

Didn't think about that. Now that is a hell of a way to pay him back.

Me and my future bride would request to get married in the video room. Apparently that's a pretty cool place.

Must've been the Festivus service. I GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH YOU PEOPLE! Jim Standridge's list of grievances includes falling asleep in church, Underwood’s sorry ***, Kelly’s ***** of a wife, and Young Cox’s bad attitude and video room kingdom.

Wow. How awkward must that have been?

He is probably lucky ole Big Boy didn't whip his old ***. He practically called him a p.o.s and then proceeded to call out dude's fiance like she was a street walker.

Ha. Looks like the church i grew up in and all the blue hairs are dying off and all the youth are going elsewhere and the crowds are getting smaller in the "hell fire and brimestone church", as they move to a world outreach church....looks like the preacher is finally realizing it and freaks out

Sad, pathetic piece of ****.

Good Lord above. Based on your own typed words, perhaps a return trip to a church might be beneficial. Prayers sent.

I had trouble watching that. I think someone forgot who is actually responsible for "his" church. What the hell was his point supposed to be anyway? That boy done lost his mind.

It reminds me of a wedding I went to in West Memphis, where the preacher basically told everyone in attendance that if they weren't (insert whatever denomination it was, Catholic maybe) they were going to hell. Not just Christian, but not a member of that church. He also said you couldn't come up and take communion. During a freaking wedding. Slightly awkward.

Catholics don't share Eucharist with non-Catholics ever, wedding or otherwise, although Catholics absolutely do not believe non-Catholics can't go to Heaven. The pope recently clarified that even atheists can go to Heaven.

It was extremely inappropriate at a wedding, especially if you heard the tone, it was all fire and brimstoney. And I've taken communion at my Dad's church, and they didn't seem to mind. I've been to mass many times at many churches and have never had anyone say "You can't come up here if ya ain't catholic, and youre gonna burn in hell!"

Now Jane, do you take Brad...

Well, based on your words are you a member of the church? Looks like the preacher isn't the only one going around judging people. In his case though, he knew the people. You're such a strong Christian that you are judging someone based on a post they made on a message board. Screw you, dude.

If I was Mr. Underwood, I would leave a check in the offering plate for 30 cents....enough to cover me and my fiancé. Gotta love the ones that scare you out of hell and into heaven. Screw him.

Not sure he wasn't drunk. And he has an ego problem ... he always asked "do you love ME", not "do you love God, or Jesus".

I wouldn't go back. Probably wouldn't have gone to that type church in the first place.

That, my friends, was the Bud damn Kilmer of Preachers.

Let's go, let's go!

Seriously though, what an egomaniac? Not a peep about what Jesus said. All about him and his church. What a crappy representation of the Christian church.

So one story on the video had an update from Mr. "Big Boy" Underwood from his Facebook, he has left the church but said he has no ill will for the church and still loves ole Doc Standridge but said he was out of line and was hurt by it. His fiancé had just called to see if the church schedule was available for their wedding, they weren't going to get him to marry them. He also goes on to say that he had legitimate reasons as to why he missed church 2-3 times total but the pastor never talked to him one on one. That was the first time it was mentioned haha

"Drink this in remembrance of me..... wait a minute, give me back that blood of Christ you protestant worm!" I've always wondered how human beings get to determine who is worthy enough to have communion

Pentecostal was my first guess, too - until I saw some of the congregation. Having grown up going to a Pentecostal church, I can certainly see one of their pastors doing this. I can't remember mine ever going quite this far, but he came close - and it wouldn't have surprised me at all. And to go along with some other posters - this is outrageous, disgusting, inappropriate, pathetic, abusive...the arrogance and ego is jawdropping. It amazes me that people actually choose to go to churches like this.

I probably don't have to add this but, I'm not Pentecostal anymore...escaped years ago.
