OT: Question about GoBank

I got a letter sent to my address, but was for someone who has never lived here (I know that because we bought the lot, built the house, and have been in it ever since). The letter contained what appeared to be a legitimate debit card.

I'd never heard of GoBank. Seems like it's an online bank only with no physical locations. But it's not very highly rated, according to online reviews.

There are lots of money guys and accountant types on here. What should I do with the letter and debit card? Just shred it, or try to find the guy and forward it to him.

Grab that thing with your kitchen tongs and run it through hour shredder. No telling what they are up to.

That's my first reaction also, but wanted to get some qualified opinions. Had it been sent to me, I would certainly have shredded it without further thought.

I'd take a look at your credit rating. One of your current credit cards likely offers a free credit score service, and they will usually list all of the accounts you have open, and other useful information. Make sure someone hasn't stolen your identity, something similar happened to my wife because she orders **** from sketchy *** companies.
