Has the lack of a winter in the South caused the azaleas and other spring-blooming plants at Augusta to flower too early? Will there be the normal color on the course for this tournament or will it be mostly green?

For whatever reason, the east coast wasn't quite as warm (relative to normal) as those of us to the west in Alabama and Mississippi. I was in Myrtle Beach last week, a bit north of Augusta, but it was actually cooler there than here in Huntsville and the azaleas were fine there. Huntsville's average temp this winter was about what Mobile would normally expect. It was the warmest I've ever seen here, and I've been here about 45 years. Had it not been for late fall snows at the last of November and early December, there basically would have been no winter.
