Rocky 3 just on today. Best of all the Rocky movies. Mr. T was the perfect bad guy.

He apparently died peacefully in his sleep.
Damn, he was a really good actor and played linebacker for San Diego State.
Coincidence he died at 76. In 1976 Apollo Creed said "And in keeping with great events throughout the country's history, Apollo Creed will duplicate the cracking of the liberty bell by cracking Mac Lee Green."
Fortunately for Rocky, Adrianne and Paulie, Mac Lee Green suffered a severely cracked third metacarpal in his left hand and couldn't fight.

Oh man that is too bad. I was a Rocky fanatic. Loved all of them. Have the soundtracks on vinyl from the first two. Loved Carl Weathers. He played a perfect Apollo Creed. RIP Carl.
Really good actor who didn’t get the parts he should have gotten, but he was great in the ones he did! RIP

Someone else said it earlier, but he was a dude. When those larger-than-life dudes you watched as a kid start passing away, its a reality check. RIP

Never met him but so many people over the years said he was just the nicest person, great personality, all around super guy. Iconic characters he played will live on for many, many years.
