OT: RIP, Jeff Austin

[Maroon Eagle]

I saw him perform once back in 2003 at the High Sierra Music Festival when he was with Yonder Mountain String Band. I was impressed with their show that I bought a CD at the merch table.

Earlier this year, I thought about seeing him perform this weekend at ROMP Fest in Owensboro but changed my mind. Unfortunately, I won't see him play again.

The rumor is that he hung himself while visiting his inlaws and was in a medically induced coma since sometime monday.
