I remember the WMMR (Philly) DJ's mocking the 1989 Steel Wheels Tour as the "Steel Wheelchairs" tour. 34 years ago, when they were 46. That was considered old THEN. 80 is the new 40!!!Good tune. Not bad for a bunch of 80 year olds.

I remember. Mick and Keef and Co. kicked off the North American leg of their Steel Wheels tour in Philly. First time I ever saw the Stones. Saw 'em again a few weeks later at Shea Stadium.I remember the WMMR (Philly) DJ's mocking the 1989 Steel Wheels Tour as the "Steel Wheelchairs" tour. 34 years ago, when they were 46. I also remember the Howard Stern show absolutely torching and torturing John Dibella and the Morning Zoo, when his show was simulcast on WMMR. The good old days when he was vicious and funny, and Sam Kinison was a regular. Now the show is more tame than The View.I remember. Mellowed with age, for sure.I also remember the Howard Stern show absolutely torching and torturing John Dibella and the Morning Zoo, when his show was simulcast on WMMR. The good old days when he was vicious and funny, and Sam Kinison was a regular. Now the show is more tame than The View.
