Didn't want to dig up the old hot sauce thread, but I just snagged a couple of keepers.

I have been buying Trader Joe's habanero sauce for years. Just the perfect amount of heat and flavor when you want a real kick. I buy 7-8 bottles every so often and reload.

Stopped in today and took a flyer on a couple of new sauces.

I love spicy BBQ sauce in lieu of ketchup and this shìt is amazing. Little chunks of roasted garlic, it's awesome. Definitely going on my next slab of ribs too.

But the sweet tater habanero is bomb. Not very hot at all, ma 1/20th of the regular habanero sauce. But amazing flavor combo. I put a drizzle on some smoked Kokanee for lunch and it was unbelievable. Highly recommend both.

Frank's Red Hot has a new Korean BBQ sauce that is pretty good. It could be hotter though.

I got one for you rib smokers....i used to help my friend in his quest for BBQ greatness doing competition ribs....never could get any consistency.....a friend of his told him to go make a batch of Emeril's Orange Chipotle glaze (recipe on his website)....so we made a batch just as it is written....we went to finals 3 straight times until the season ended....I now make it and jar it....all the swinging dikcs in my neighborhood think it's my secret recipe....I get calls starting in the spring "you jarred any of that glaze?".....so now the secret is out....try it and DM me later when you are a grand champion.

I buy franks stuff wholesale so I'm not sure if you can get it on the shelves, but I use their mango habanero wing and sweet chili wing sauces in wings and there stinging honey garlic on wings and pizza in lieu of hot honey. They are all excellent.

Hell, we buy cases of the franks dry rub for our wings too. I bet I spend close to $2000 a year on Frank's stuff... Love em. But I just don't like Korean BBQ sauce. Soy and ginger belong on sushi.

Maybe you need to start supplying the pack with bootleg Franks wing sauces.

Second the Trader Joe’s Habanero sauce. Surprising heat and really nice for a grocery store brand

they did not accept my trade, so I am not going back for those 2 sauces until I have something better to barter

Try this one from Trader Joe's PooPop. It's made from small batch Japanese vinegar, citrus peel and chili peppers. It's spicy and somewhat vinegary, but not a sour vinegar flavor. I think the citrus sweetens it some, its unique but not weird. I put it on everything

I've been eating hot honey like crack lately.

My personal mix: 2:1:1 ratio of Sweet Baby Ray's buffalo : honey : butter. Heat it up to mix then keep cool in the fridge. Pair with a good lemon pepper rub on your chicken and it's phenomenal.
