I am okay so far but if you pray, keep the people of South Carolina in your prayer. (We are Neighbors helping Neighbors here.) Many are hit hard and have lost a lot. Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, Columbia, and surrounding areas. (I realize other states are getting it too. I will keep them in prayer praying for safety.)

I know this is a Paddock thread but for the moment until it is moved please remember...

Yes, I live in Little River, SC. My house is fine, but a lot of surrounding area is flooded.

Yeah, he posted in the D-League yesterday, I think. He's good.

I'll assume everyone is looting and shooting, right?

Ha, you'd think that but since being here I have yet to meet anyone I couldn't tolerate being around. I like this joint! (I'm not near downtown at this time. It may happen but I haven't seen or heard it.)

Saw where coffins are popping out of the ground because of so much water, ala New Orleans.
Their Senators voted against aid for New England after Sandy, as did most of their house members. They are now all for it now. Wonder if they now feel ashamed.

To be fair, those aid for New England bills were so loaded up with pork, I'd be against voting for it too. Congress SHOULD be ashamed for not sending up clean bills designated for the folks needing help rather than getting some congressman re-elected.

Disaster relief for states ravaged by Mother Nature used to come quick and were hardly ever paid for, and was put on the countries credit card. Most votes were close to unanimous and bi-partisan. That is until BHO became president, and the "debt hawks", who coincidentally are greatly responsible for huge portions of the debt during Dubya's 8 year reign, decided after the tornadoes that rocked Missouri awhile back that, for the !st time in our history, that any aid to those affected had to be paid by cutting funding elsewhere. Just one of the many borderline treasonous actions the GOP took to try to make BHO a one termer.
