While we are waiting on the game to start (and I am in here waiting for my boys to take a nap), it looks like a very strong possibility that we will be moving to a subharb of Rochester, NY. Anyone had any experience up there?

Met a buddy there one weekend....

It’s not far from Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Toronto. Upstate NY seems pretty laid back, and nice scenery.

I once worked with a girl from the area. They were pretty country, minus the accent.

Nice town, sizable, and lots of snow. Right on the lake too, so plenty of recreational opportunities in the short summers.

Summer is great.

Winter well and truly sucks.

Any place named "family restaurant" is a place to avoid.

Triple A baseball is good.
