I won't say I'm pissed. But i was surprised. I absolutely love SOA. Best show on TV. And Opie's was a good character (although last season I thought his character was kinda weak). But one thing that makes a show like it great is the writers' willingness to kill their darlings....the fact that you never know who might be next. It's the same reason sopranos was good. Just because you like someone or they are a main character doesn't mean they won't get killed off.
I just wish they show was a 24 hour event. I hate waiting a week for an episode.
/good season so far
//think jax is about to go the 17 off
No kidding. So much has already happened so far......
It's hard to believe it's only been 3 episodes. I'm gonna miss Ope. I think you're starting to see the isolation of Jax as prez. Ope was really the only one who completely had Jax's back. Now he's down to Chibs & Bobby as "his guys" on the inside. Tig is a loose cannon and we all know he's coming unhinged at some point this season. Going to be interesting to see how the club can take a guy with the pull of Pope.
I expect opie's death to alter jax's path. He was trying to go straight. But I think with the CIA/cartel basically having control over him, the revenge for opie being killed, and all the **** with Pope that he'll go gangster again.
And don't look now, but Clay is turning the corner. I actually think he's behind the home invasions. Hate that 17er.
The new Redwood members are behind the invasions, no?
Wasn't that in last week's episode?
Also, is it confirmed that this season is the final one?
Its gonna be good this year. And, yes, I agree that Jax is about to become 'president' in that he will become hard and out of touch like they all do when its them in charge
They showed us that close-up to show you the shoes he was wearing. They were the same shoes one of the guys from the other Sons' chapter in CA was wearing when they got voted into the Redwood chapter earlier that episode (he had them up on the table and Chibs or somebody knocked them off). Which means somebody they know (probably Clay - who knows?) is behind the break-ins.
