The first name sounds like the first name of a little known basketball player with the last name Alarie, but is spelled like the first name of a singer whose last name is Anthony.

This may sound hard but I know there are some guys here that know this.

Marcel Courtillet is a former Duke football player. What did he do that was part of a big time play in Duke football history. OFC

Marcel flipped the ball to Wes Chesson, while Leo Hart tied his shoe, and UNC huddled. "Killer Left" went for TD in Wallace Wade and that play led Duke to Coach Tom Harp's Blue Devil team beating UNC. WHAT A GREAT SATURDAY IT WAS!!

Thanks for memory Sky!!!

As a spin-off from Sky's question, another unbelievable play happened at Michigan in 1994. The Wolverines had it in the bag until the infamous "Miracle at Michigan." Who defeated the Maize and Blue on a hail mary of 64 yards???? OFC

Barry Wilson. OFC

DI good job. It tends to get lost in the shuffle because three coaches who FOLLOWED Barry were FIRED: Goldsmith, Franks and Roof. Barry stepped down with IIRC two games left in the '93 campaign, (although he coached last two)his 4th year on the job.

Barry Wilson is an honorable man, with a passion for doing things the right way, and his ethics and character were exemplary. There were no plans to fire him, but he refused to let personal pride stand in his way. He knew Duke deserved better and stepped aside. Fred Goldsmith took over and led Duke to the Hall of Fame Bowl the next season.

@Devilnside run with it my friend!

During one year one of the Crazies dressed as Bozo the Clown and inserted himself into the Twerp pre-game lay-up line behind a Twerp player. Who was that Player? OFC

Last name was O’Brien. First name might have been Jim. Can’t remember. Bore a resemblance to Bozo. Long thinning curly hair. Good player.

O'Brien I think was his last name. Don't remember his first name. He did look like Bozo.
