His initials are DM . He left Gonzaga in late July. His assistant, Mark Few, moved up to head coach. Few looked unprepared to me. He mumbled and had bad teeth. I was sure that he would fail. This question was difficult. If not answered by noon, I'll ask another

I don't remember his name, but he took the Zags to the Elite 8 in the very painful year of 1999. I believe UConn barely beat them.

Name the only school to lose in five consecutive tournament appearances against a team seeded at least 5 spots lower than them.

UCLA, Kansas, Syracuse, and FSU are all incorrect.

I don't know this clue helps much, but the school in question didn't actually lose in 5 consecutive tournaments. The question was 5 consecutive tournament appearances. This occurred over the span of 6 years, where they missed the tournament once.

Also, just for clarification, this is men's college basketball.

Not Cincinnati or Arizona. I do like the Cincinnati guess, though. They lost four straight years in the 2nd Round as a 2 or 3 seed. Huggins really struggled to get to the second weekend of the tournament.

Here's another small hint. All 5 of these tournaments were in the 21st century.

I'm going to put this out of my mind. I don't see how a program seeded that high year after year could lose upsets regularly and not be common knowledge

Not Syracuse or Florida.

Here's another hint. One of the schools they lost to was 11th-seeded NC State.

I considered GEORGETOWN on Tuesday night. They had flops against Florida Gulf Coast and NC State. I looked up their record on Tuesday night, and they had one loss to #4 seed Utah in 2015 I believe

skysdad, you should take the question if not answered soon. I went back and looked at Georgetown' s results again. It looks like Georgetown is the answer. But since I looked up the results, I didn't get it

OK. An uncle and nephew played basketball at UNC class of '77 and Duke class of '91. The Duke player's first name is Clay. They share the same first names as an uncle and nephew from the NFL. What is the last name of the NFL uncle and nephew?

Jay Buckley was a starter at Center on Duke's excellent teams of the early '60s. His much younger brother, Bruce, was a reserve power forward for UNC in the mid 70s and his son,Clay, was a reserve Center at Duke class of 91

UNC fans called him Bruce 'the Blade' Buckley and then called him things I can't print when he missed a 3 footer when UNC was running the Four Corners against Marquette in the 1977 national championship game. My brother cursed ( only time he ever did) and my mom didn't punish him

He did curse one other time- accidentally. Same year, 1977 World Series between the Yankees and Dodgers. He was rooting for New York and one of the Yankees hit the ball. It was a wicked cut and he tried to say "that's a shot" but the bat broke for a seeing-eye flare and he changed shot to hit with bad results. Mom giggled and told him to avoid a career in radio. The baby brother can get away with murder

Georgetown was the correct answer. Here were the results...

2008: (2) Georgetown lost to (10) Davidson in the 2nd Round
2010: (3) Georgetown lost to (14) Ohio in the 1st Round
2011: (6) Georgetown lost to (11) VCU in the 1st Round
2012: (3) Georgetown lost to (11) NC State in the 2nd Round
2013: (2) Georgetown lost to (15) Florida Gulf Coast in the 1st Round

5 straight tournament appearances with 5 losses, all coming to teams seeded 5 spots or lower. Gtown missed the tournament in 2009.

Georgetown question was the best ever. They had some rough draws and some flops. I didn't go back far enough. They played well in 2010, but Davidson played better

It's been over 24 hours without a response so I will ask a question. Which college has 2 Hall of Fame Running Backs, one drafted in 1965 and the other in 1971?
