Here are a couple of hints:

-They've been to a Final Four before
-Coach K has lost to this school in the NCAA Tournament

Not West Virginia.

One of the biggest reasons why they don't have a regular season title is they were an independent for such a long period of time. They have 2 Final Four appearances - and they've made the tournament 5 of the past 6 seasons (not counting 2020).

Wonderful! I'll ask the same question from a couple of days ago when I thought I was up:. Who is second on the all+time NASCAR Wins list behind Richard Petty?

Not Bobby Allison. The driver had 105 career wins. Second to Richard Petty's 200 wins. He and Petty finished 1-2 in 63 races, and this driver had the edge in those races. His first name starts with the letters "Da". I believe that his car number was 21

Another wonderful guess. I only asked the question because watching him and Petty draft way ahead of the field in cars that looked like real cars was mesmerizing. It's the only NASCAR that I know. Last name starts with P

33 years ago (back when we had baseball), a Twins pitcher was ejected from a game with the Angels. He was pocketing an emery board and sandpaper to doctor the baseball. Name this hurler.... OFC

Two incredible answers. Niekro is correct I think, but Gaylord Perry is much more interesting. Perry was the master of deception. Like the Amazing Randi. He admitted to using the grease, but couldn't be caught. And in 1974, when he won 15 in a row, he didn't cheat at all.

While with the White Sox, in 2015, Chris Sale struck out 10 or more batters in 8 consecutive games, tying a MLB record. (Gerritt Cole has since broke it with 11 straight games).

Who did Sale join as the only men to achieve this pitching feat to that point?
