I think it refers to the lannister brother and sister in the game of thrones. They are twins and like to have relations with each other.

This. Without giving anything away, "The Lannisters send their regards" was a particularly poignant quote said by a guy just before assasinating another guy.
I'm not sure anyone here has gotten it. Even those that think they do. The Lannisters rallying cry is "A Lannister always repays his debts." (both financially and also with revenge)... along with the quote from the last episode.
