I just found out a thing called Superbox which is an android based streaming platform. Does anyone have one? I am being told it opens up streaming to a 1 time purchase and you can stream anything.

I am looking at the link now, and my two concerns would be: With that much content I would imagine the interface to be very cumbersome, and it looks like you would need multiple boxes for additional tvs.

It does appear to have any and every channel you could possibly want. I am going to read up a little more on this. Sorry for also not being able to contribute much on the topic, but I do appreciate you posting. Looks interesting.

Yeah that's where I am too. That's why I am asking here. It amazes me how you have access to all information on the internet but somehow even that seems to be filtered to where you can't get a straight full answer.

More trouble than they are worth. I've been through multiple Android boxes and am much happier now rotating through streaming services. I usually pay less than 40/month for streaming.

I've got two and love it. The 2 apps I use are BlueTV and Blue VOD. BlueTV is live TV and has a lot of the network broadcast channels from all over the country. There are many "cable" networks as well including ESPNs You are able to watch most sports events including MLB, NFL etc games and I've seen UFC ppv on the guide but never tried that. I haven't seen the ESPN+ streams so I don't think you'll be able to watch MSU baseball on it.
Blue VOD is the video on demand and you can find the new shows and movies there. I've watched The Monkey, Mickey 17 and Captain America this past week. The TV shows in this section come from all of the streaming services. I'm not really sure how it's legal, but it will pay for itself within a few months if you cancel other services so no big loss if the party ends in the future. The interface isn't the best, but far from the worst I've encountered. I recommend getting a compatible remote with a full keyboard for searches. I have had problems with audio/video synching, but a reboot usually cures that. Sometimes VOD streams aren't available too, but they come back in time.

Firestick.... 25$ a month, streaming service that caters to this type of thing...

Cons ... sometimes it lags, but 25 a month beats 88 for youtube tv (which will continue to increase) and plus we aren't home enough to watch 100$ worth of tv a month.

I don't know anything about them, never heard of it. But if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Every time I have seen anything like this they always end up being illegal, then they get sued, found guilty, then support ends and you end up w/ a few months of good use of it and then it becomes a door stop

There are no fees for a Firestick other than the initial purchase (which was about $25 on Black Friday) for mine. You are evidently paying $25 for an unnamed subscription service

Can you watch ESPN with it? I pay for Hulu Live to only use it to watch MSU baseball and football. It is a huge waste of money.

I'm guessing there's an additional good chance that this Superbox is having a look-see at everything else you're doing on the internet at your house.

I'm all for stealing from tv/streaming providers, but pirates will rob you, too.

I went with an Android box (different box) and am very happy. Have one on 3 TV's and they paid for themselves very quickly. I get way more channels than I will ever use. Several of my friends have one now and more are ordering them. A couple of weeks ago a group of friends were watching a pay per view event without paying for it.

I have a firestick that had an app put on it and pay about $25 a month for a service that had everything that is on live TV including all of the premium movie streams like HBO. It also includes pay-per-view events, that I never watch. Basically if it is on TV somewhere you get it. It also has a folder that has organized tiles by genre for movies and one for series' that is similar looking to Netflix. On another app for the same price I get Netflix, Hulu, Apple, etc along with streaming movies you can search. It is legal and bought from a brick and mortar business. I pay twice yearly at the store. I wonder how it is legit but it appears that it is. Had it about 3 years now. I won't promote someone on an open board but if you want to know who it is message me.
