my question is WHY???
This is HC job #5 since 2010 (Western KY, USF, OR, FSU, & now FAU) and he's only 43 years old. He is 56-62 overall and has only coached in one bowl game that was a loss. I bring up the bowl game only because he's jumped jobs so so much and is always looking for the next payday. Btw after he leaves a school the next season has typically been better.
His first statement after the most recent hiring was "I'm looking forward to long term success here (at FAU)." This was after his old job in South Florida (USF) would not even entertain hiring him and they hired Jeff Scott, the OC from Clemson.
These school's athletic depts are crazy.
