I got to talk to the men and women from Weiner Mobile crew a few years ago. The inside of the vehicle is actually quite nice and looks like a luxury tour bus. Apparently they only recruit new college graduates who get to be part of the Weiner Mobile crew for one year. Most of them were drama/theater majors. Their job is to drive the vehicle to events around the country and interact with the public at the events. All I thought was “Where was this gig when I graduated college?”

How long until this is on the Current Events board as a cancel culture conspiracy?? 🤪
I don't think it would be all that surprising to eventually find out that someone bitched about the name and that's why they changed it. Not saying that's the case, have NO idea, BUT it's not out of the realm of possibilities these days.

Nothing is beyond the realm of possibility or thinking something was the cause ,really wasn't and something else was the reason.
here's something I found,
>Did Oscar Myers change the name of the Weiner car?
Oscar Mayer's Wienermobile is driving off into the sunset. Say hello, to … the Frankmobile. For the first time in its nearly century-long existence, the famous hot-dog-shaped vehicle is changing its name. Oscar Mayer says the new Frankmobile name “pays homage” to the new recipe for its hot dogs rolling out this summer.May 17, 2023<

I think she called it a TD because the ball eventually hit the pylon but well after the receiver hit the ground.
She also called aTD for Dremel which was overturned.
However if you're trying to groom new officials, either male or female, these are the games to work for experience.

Just like the “RAC” is never going away, it’s still the “weinermobile” to me 😏

Bit torn... do not like the move... but here we are talking about it.. which is the whole point of PR and advertising. They could always follow this up with a change back to Weinermobile and stay in the public eye.

If I am going to have meat in the tube on a bun it will be a white brat or a sausage sandwich. Not a huge fan of the hot dog... and beef should be burger or steak or a roast or cheesesteak use of beef... even stew and the much-hated-on LoBro!
