I'll give Liam a chance. Not hating on the choice, just not my first choice.

Thanks to 'The Hangover'. Though I don't know if I'd call him a "big star". I'd be surprised if you went to an average joe and didn't have this conversation:

"Bradley Cooper is playing Face."
"Who?"
"You know, Phil from 'The Hangover'."
"Oh, that dude."

But as to your first point, no, I don't claim to watch a lot of movies. I know he was in some kind of romantic comedy last year, billed as "the guy from 'The Hangover'".
