Mendoza's soeech was excellent.

It was nice to see Pavia lose with class.....lessness. SMH. I'm hoping his NFL stock drops like Sanders did.

He’s a poor man’s Manzel. I can’t see many teams interested in his services. Way too much baggage and his game doesn’t translate all that well to the pro game.

Pavia is a gritty college QB who helped Vandy to a great year. His game doesn’t translate into the NFL. So this is it for him. As for his antics, he is a young guy who is making mistakes. I was young once and made plenty of mistakes.

But his "youthful" indiscretion just might wind up costing him some enforcement money because advertisers might not want to be assassinated with him over his Heisman act .
Young or not , he'll mature real quick finding out the endorsement money is not what he expected because of what he did and try to change his image of a sore loser.

I expect he'll be advised to issue an apology for his actions, even if he's only sorry about the money it cost him,
in order to have his name a sellable item again

It would be nice if we held older people in positions of great power and authority to a similar standard. We don’t. So I’m not going to come down heavy on a kid in his early 20’s who probably had a few too many drinks.

24 is not youthful.

He’ll probably sue again for another year of eligibility. Plus those Heisman pics he took with the other players makes him look like 5-9 instead of 6 feet. He’s definitely ot Doug Flutie.

And, as expected, the fake apology

Said to my bro in law yesterday. With NiL these guys now have access to professional PR teams and agents that should be able to limit these types of mishaps and control their social media and public persona. The fact that he and his family keep making front page news for all the wrong reasons should be a warning for all teams that still may be interested. This kid and his family have a better chance of being in jail in 3-5 than on an NFL roster.

I was able to view it finally. It was pretty good. I think Mendoza got some unwarranted criticism for his post-game interview after the OSU game. He was excited and emotional after knocking off the #1 team. This was after hearing all year long that his team was overrated. One Barstool guy went as far to say that he hurt his draft position with the interview. Absolutely ridiculous.

If that interview hurt his draft position, it would raise questions about how the NFL evaluates talent at QB.
