Has anyone in the Tupelo area got an opinion on Trugreen? Thinking about trying it. I actually live in starkville but the tru green rep from tupelo has been calling me. I've also tried to get c&s to spray a couple times and he has failed to show up.

I don't remember who I used before them but I've used lawn and pest solutions for the last 3-4 years and gotten much better results.

I dropped Trugreen last year because I was still getting weeds and they killed a large patch of grass in my front yard. I use Growing Green now and have had no problems plus they are cheaper.

TruGreen hugs my bag.

I'm convinced they made my weeds issues worse.

Just used true green once so far and they didn't kill a single weed. Wrote them to come back and as of this writing have not seen them. If they don't come back or I don't see any significant results I will drop the. Forget about C&S he never calls back.

My experience with TrueWeeds....I mean TrueGreen is that they kill just enough weeds to make it look like you're making progress, but also leaving enough to ensure that you have to keep them coming back as well.
I had better results buying weed and feed from walmart and spreading it myself twice a year. And putting the other $500 in my pocket.

TruGreen didn't kill my weeds (had some violets, hard to kill) but in the process killed my entire lawn. Before they killed my grass, they drove the heavy spreader that they ride around on my lawn and there were permanent tracks that were discolored until the whole thing died.

I changed grass to zoysia, and now use a local guy who's doing a really good job. I don't have a single weed in my yard right now. Six applications at $52 each ... not bad. At my request, this guy doesn't use a riding spreader ... he uses one that's worn around the neck and refills it several times.

2nd vote for lawn & pest solutions. I couldn't be more satisfied with their service.

Know this about TruGreen. If you go with them and cancel it at a later date they will pester the ever-loving **** out of you. I'm talking 5-6 calls A DAY! I finally threatened legal action if they didn't stop calling me. They would call 3-4 times a day on my cell at work then call me at home on my home phone.

Trugreen was at my neighbors house in Madison on Friday spraying the yard. The ground was fully saturated from all the rain. There was also like 90% rain that night. I'm no expert but I would'nt think that when your lawn is fully saturated, it would be the best time to spray.

That and other situations like it are what Google Voice is for, kind of like a throw away email account.
