I've said the same thing but people feel they need to "play a part" here. I've said it before - briefly check out the D-League thread. Everyone is calm and talking about gardening and saying good morning to each other. Same people will go to the political thread a minute later and begin typing outlandish things and sounding like Alex Jones. Then it's back to being calm in another thread. Certain topics and threads make people feel they need to ratchet the emotions up to 11. Seems tiresome to be fake like that, but welcome to the internet I guess.

On my own principals, I can't get on board with this. My Health insurance premiums just went up $30 a month, after pretty much dropping for the last 10 years. Grocery bill is up 10-15%. I can't vote for a party that's taking money out my wallet, whether they intend to do so or not.. narcissists and mean tweets be damned.

Try actually looking up data instead of quoting skewed talking points. Violent Crime spiked considerably from 2019 to 2020. So 2022 is down from the 2020 spike, but still a lot higher than 2019 and prior.
I never had a Blackberry either, but the text game changed for me when I got a Sidekick III. Loved that thing but damn was it bulky. Not very comfortable to carry in a jeans pocket. Before that I started off with a Nokia brick (like most people) and then had a Razr for awhile, so the Sidekick was a huge upgrade for texting. Man, that seems like it was so long ago but it really wasn't.
It's interesting to see the progression of cell phones in such a short time from huge and heavy, to slim and compact, back to huge but now thin and light.

Apparently almost the whole payroll department quit. That is going to make processing these thousands of severance and final pays fun for the remaining team. All of this right before year end in as well for Twitters payroll team, God speed to them.
