I'm not gonna sit here and take that from a dude who posts pictures of himself working out on Instagram.Covering the front desk right now for someone that’s late and I don’t use the Wi-Fi here, I’m a high roller with an unlimited data package.
I’m trying to encourage you all to do something better with your lives. You’re arguing with a brick wall basically, so why? Maybe I’ll convince you to go better yourself, get outside, take a walk, stop yelling at some guy named Matteo and be productive instead. It’s called fat shaming and it works.
Over 6.7 million people have died from COVID worldwide including over 1 million in the US and you think that is less important than a story about Twitter? You all are strange.Imo this is probably the biggest story since at least the banking collapse.
It's bigger than stories like covid, etc, because those stories were driven by government controlled narratives using the propaganda vehicle we call social media.
Some of us knew all along what was going on with government controlling (as well as almost surely building and funding) social media but the vast majority of people just accepted social media as fact.
Every single major event in the social media era should be completely reexamined. It won't but it should be. The public should absolutely be made aware exactly how much the "news" was just a curated narrative.
Why wouldn’t I? It’s my job to sell that I’m in great shape. Also, it’s my favorite hobby, don’t most people post pics of doing their favorite hobby? They’re also on FB if IG wasn’t enough for you.I'm not gonna sit here and take that from a dude who posts pictures of himself working out on Instagram.
Nope, don’t give a ****. If you’re susceptible from dying from it or are scared you stay home. We shouldn’t all have to, that’s dumb.Over 6.7 million people have died from COVID worldwide including over 1 million in the US and you think that is less important than a story about Twitter? 1. Regardless of how you feel about COVID, you straight up just not caring about millions of people dying says a WHOLE lot about you.Why wouldn’t I? It’s my job to sell that I’m in great shape. I guess I could post pics of my kids that literally only 3% of your followers care about, but you post what you like not what other people want you to post.

Cigs kill half a million every year, can you still buy them anywhere? Yup. And that’s not just a random three year plague, that’s every year for decades.
Shut up about Covid, no one cares anymore. No one that never got a vax is getting one at this point. So what do you think we should do? Freak out?
Pretty sure it's the exact opposite. Remember all of the Republican outrage when Biden said that government employees were required to get the vaccine or be tested weekly? You're not supposed to believe EVERYTHING you read online.
It’s called autocorrect, it was “no one ever”, geez.1. Regardless of how you feel about COVID, you straight up just not caring about millions of people dying says a WHOLE lot about you.
2. People voluntarily smoke cigarettes and know the risks. People aren't out in mass attempting to get COVID, these aren't comparable situations.
3. I made a single comment to the person who brought up COVID in the first place, and suddenly I need to shut up? Relax.
4. "No one that never" is a double negative so you used that incorrectly.
5. Weren't you just on here a little bit ago saying that people need to get out more instead of arguing with strangers? Quite hypocritical of you if I do say so myself.
It’s called autocorrect, it was “no one ever”, geez.
Yes people that are healthy SHOULD get out and walk and stay healthy. Being online all day isn’t healthy in any capacity yet more and more of the population prefers it because they’re struggling at life.
If your immune system is compromised than maybe don’t go in public, or if you’re “scared” or whatever. The rest of us should be able to do as we please.
And yes, losing all those people is awful but what’s worse is all the fallout from everything that shutting down caused. It most likely severely hurt way more than 7 million people.
Hey a few million people died so let’s ruin the world economy and take every child out of school. That totally saved everything last time…
I’m not arguing that everyone should be forced to stay indoors and not to be able to live their lives so I’m not sure why you keep bringing that up like I disagree. It’s called autocorrect, it was “no one ever”, geez.

We needed a good culling my man. There’s too many people anyway.I’m not arguing that everyone should be forced to stay indoors and not to be able to live their lives so I’m not sure why you keep bringing that up like I disagree.
The issue that I have is that you basically toss aside the fact that millions of people died like it’s nothing. The economy going through a temporary downturn and a lackluster education system is not worse than losing millions of lives. The economy can always recover and every day is a new day to learn but once you die, there’s not much that can be done to fix that.
Biden lies every time he talks. Are we really trying to argue here that Biden lies more than Trump? I mean really?
I made that comment almost three weeks ago, catch up.Biden lies every time he talks.
Not to play devil’s advocate here but Twitter has been in the overall top 10-15 on the App Store for years now.
Step up your copy and paste from social media meme game. **** looks like you photographed it off a standard definition tv with a disposable Kodak.
Do you know what overall means because to me it means every app out there, not just news. If Twitter was already one of the most popular apps in the entire App Store for years, then why is it a important if it happens to (probably temporarily) surpass Facebook or Reddit or whatever was #1 in terms of just “news” apps. I was just pointing out a simple fact, relax. It’s now #1 dipshit, the article wasnt bragging about it being #12

Just like most things these small brained geniuses spout, their predictions opinions, or choices don't age well (see Trump Russia collusion, Covid masking, lockdowns, Biden presidency, etc...).How can this be? I was assured by the smallest brains on the Internet that they knew how to better run a multi-billion dollar enterprise than someone that runs multi-billion dollar enterprises.

I don’t care how rich Elon Musk is, you can still critique his business decisions. If the objective is to make money, then things look pretty bad for him right now with Twitter.
He drastically overpaid
He’s got a lot of debt
Advertising revenue is down
It’s a private company now so we won’t know the figures 100% for sure, but it sure looks that way. Put down your politics and your hero worship and your cult of personality and you’ll see the same thing.
I don’t know how many businesses you’ve owned but in my industry the first year of new ownership averages an 18% drop in revenue until things get up and running. Twitter currently has record users, significantly reduced payroll, and just signed multiple large advertising deals. That’s a rather stark contrast from the very first post in this thread. I would imagine this is a long term play that will take about 10 years or so to see how it really played out, but Twitter is currently positioned not to go “bankrupt” this year.
The thread was created over two months ago right after Musk bought the company and there was so much happening with Twitter basically everyday. It is possible for companies to return to a state of relative normalcy over a two-month span. Twitter had been #1 before (right after Musk bought it) so this isn't ground-breaking news. I'm completely calm, you're the one that called me a dipshit. This really isn't that deep, I was just pointing out an observation. Also, saying relax and calm down is redundant. The thread is about Twitter collapsing, filled with posts about how it’s going to go bankrupt, and a person posted that it’s currently the #1 news app, how is that not important to the discussion? Please, relax and calm down.
