Does anyone really care what some random *** person tweeted about a news story? I can't stand it when a show like Fox or CNN news talks about some part of the news and then follows this up with tweets about it.

I wonder if they have any market data that shows viewers wanting to see that crap.

Another example is some of those already awful reality competitions or music awards shows where they have tweets scrolling at the bottom of the broadcast.

Do any of you actually like that crap?

/as you can see I am trying to forget the LSU game sooner than later

something ESPNU had on a few months ago made me tweet at them in the hope to see it on the scroll. You just have to be interested in the topic and it makes you stay on the channel.

I dont care what others think, most are dumber than people on message boards.
It adds absolutely nothing to the broadcast.

I am guessing its done to try and involve fans and gain a more loyal following by making them(us) part of the broadcast, but its stupid.

Oh, and i also hate that latenight ESPN2 show where they reveal fan opinion votes on various subjects. Sportsnation? Anyways, its crap for the same reason. Its an entire show based on fluff.
