They better hope the Big 12 is coming otherwise they're about 2-3 years away from dropping their football program back to FCS level. One wonders where that money is coming from, in view of the low income figures, including TV money, earned by the football program. Maybe they know something that we don't - the B12 is coming.

I'd say B1G membership and being $22M in the hole are vastly different than Big East membership and $50M in the hole like UConn is. UConn is making 10% of what Rutgers makes from their media deal and that's with RU paying loans. Is it any different than Rutgers? Or every other program?
"Rutgers Athletics loses money! Can't pay the athletes. They are already at a loss!
Oh BTW- HC Schiano record contract. HC Pike record contract. OC KC record contract."
Schools always seem to fund the money for coaches - while crying poor when needing money for athletes.
Storrs CT is the center of the college basketball universeUConn = The basketball equivalent of Penn State.
We Are...UConn!!Storrs CT is the center of the college basketball universe
Just ask a Uconn fan
That’s giving Penn St more credit than they deserve. They haven’t challenged for a national title in the lifetime of any college players (or pro for that matter).UConn = The basketball equivalent of Penn State.
