This will be as much as about justifying more budget money as it is about being a distraction. NASA, DOD, Defense Contractors, etc., they all need more money to study and counter this threat.
I bet the names of aliens will be included in these released files while other info is redacted.

The fact that they had those hearings last year (although no wittinesses had first hand knowledge) and Obama let it slip on some random podcast was just a set up for this. The elites are all working together, no matter if they have a D or R by their names.
How would knowing this for certain change your life. I would think a majority of people believe there is life on other planets and at some points in the earths history they might have visited Earth. So if it came out all that would happen is I would say "I knew it".
With that said it is obvious if Trump did a independence day deal and pulled the flying saucer out of hiding and parked it on the white house lawn a large percentage of people still wouldn't believe it. They don't believe we landed on the moon even though you can see the landing sites on the moon. Some people still think the earth is flat. Some people think the earths history is 6 to 10 thousand years. Some people think a man can become a woman and vice versa.
So I don't think it will change a thing if he shows data because we have been trained to not believe things we are told.

Funny UFO story. My dad’s first cousin worked on the B-2 bomber design. That was when the project was a black project and he was given high level clearance. He would actually ride a bus to the sight daily with blacked out windows and it would go straight into his hanger. The two funny parts. Early on he stepped outside the hanger to smoke. Implications, innuendo and accusations mean zilch. If there is verifiable proof on anyone then let the chips fall where they may. People love to say they should all be in prison. Fine, who are they?
