I'm thinking of getting the iPhone 4 now that it's only $99 and my contract with AT&T is over...should I stay or should I go? In the Jackson area, which coverage is better?<div>

Sprint won't have the old one so you'll ahve to pay for the new one. Either way, I'd wait a few weeks to decide and see what all networks get the new one.
kind of worthless. Or at least a pain in the ***. I use the Mapquest app, and it's great as a GPS. And I can talk, and it tells me the directions even while on a call. Other than that, rarely do I surf and talk, unless for some reason I'm on a conference call on my cell and bored.
Sprint is awesome, affordable and all that...BUT the service SUCKS in many areas of MS. I cannot even use it at all at my house in Clinton. I had to get a land line. That is the only downside, but that is a huge downside. I am probably about to switch to verizon.
Granted, this was about 5-6 years ago, so I don't know how it's changed since then. But I had a work-issued phone that was on Sprint and the coverage was awful. So long as you stayed on I-55 or I-20 you usually had coverage, but get off the interstate and drive 15 minutes in any direction away from it and you'd have 1 bar or no service at all. Zero coverage in the Delta, the hills, etc.
My wife has an iPhone and iPad2 with Verizon and she has not had a problem so far. I have Sprint and will have no coverage and she has service almost every time, pretty sure they use Cellular South's towers too...
