Tip-toe softly here....

SCOTUS overturned a provision in the Voting Registration Act of '65 that reverses the southern states from having to seek approval for new voting laws.

We're getting **** flung at us by everyone across the country.

Originated from a Shelby County (AL) lawsuit against the act because Congress voted to renew the provision in '06 for another 25 years based on data of racial tension in the south from the 1960's and 70's. Facts actually prove that minorities are at a record high in voter registration and in some places outnumber white voters of the same age group.

We'll never win. We no longer need the VRA and because we no longer need it we're racist? Come on. I'm a self proclaimed democrat and even I'm for the decision today... but Jesus, it's as if there are still marches going on in MS. Several civil rights leaders claiming this "reversed all of MLK's achievements"....
