and after playing around with it for the last 30 minutes, I think I can pretty much write the rest of the work day off. Anyone else have one of these? I'm curious as to what you think about the Android tablets as compared to iPads. Here are my first impressions...

-While a little bulkier than an iPad, I like the teardrop design. It surprisingly feels a good bit more comfortable than that feeling you get with an iPad of it possibly slipping out of your hand.
-Screen clarity, sound, and processing seems to be about on par with iPad2
-While I love my iPhone, I'm already liking the customization that is available for Android platforms. You can do just about anything you want with it.
-A device that supports Flash... finally
-A device that allows for expandable memory and USB connections... finally
-Android market seems to be a little behind iOS software availability, but having access to the Playstation Store allows this tablet to make up some ground.

Downloading ice cream sandwich now so I'm about to see what's new with it. Damn, these things are going to be the downfall of humanity. I don't see myself doing much much else today other than playing with this thing.

I loath the iphone and ipad. My wife has both... Until they do something about itunes Ill just stick with Android. You have to be a 17ing rocket surgeon to figure out how to put pictures, movies, and music on them. With Android, you just plug it up, and drag and drop. That simple.

Ill be getting the Galaxy sIII and I want a Samsung tablet like yours.

Or my 9 year old daughter. Really, it is pretty damn easy to put any of that stuff on an ipad or iphone. Matter of fact, I don't know how you could make it easier. You could plug it into your computer, use wifi or even use icloud. If you find that hard I bet the commute to and from work baffles the hell out of you will all of those button thingys on your dashboard.

I wander the wilderness aimlessly...

Seriously, nothing is easier than drag and drop. Apple has everyone brainwashed into thinking they have the best product. They do not.

but saying they are not user friendly devices is absurd. And as far as them having the best product, I don't know what the ratings are on which tablet but I know which tablet sells the most and I am pretty sure it is not because of the price.

I had never owned an Apple product until Father's day in 2011 (well since the Apple IIe that I had in the 80s when I was 13 - Choplifter was the shiz back then). I have always been a Microsoft guy...

The kids (my wife) got me an iPad for my Father's day gift in 2011. It rocks and I am amazed by it. Since she bought the iPad, both my wife and I have an iPhone now and we plan to get our 2 young children each an ipod touch for Christmas this year (they both fight me for the iPad).

My point is that Apple didn't brainwash us, not by a longshot. We tried one of their products and loved it, nowwe own three of their products, and by the end of the year will own five. They have a superior product, period. No brainwashing needed...

It is unintuitive. It bars any native file operations with the mp3 player. Files can only be moved in one direction (to the mobile device)

Just recently my daughter got an iPod. She can't use iTunes on her Windows7 profile because it doesn't have admin rights. Yes, iTunes only works on Windows7 with an administrator account. Running the ap as admin isn't enough. It has to be run from an admin account. That's just ********.

The iTunes user interface hasn't really changed since its invention years and years ago. That piece of dung needs an overhaul.

There are 4 apple devices in my family. We all like them. Like BMT, I think iTunes needs a lot of help.

I've got an iMac, iPhone, iPad, and an AppleTV. I will admit, Apple is damn good at making you want all their stuff. Maybe I am "brainwashed," but I'm loving me some Apple.<div>
</div><div>By the way, this topic just needs to be fixed to the top of the board. </div>

OK, now I'm frustrated. I need to copy several pictures from my iphone to my computers. iTunes won't do this. What. The. +***. Seriously.

Haven't found a way yet.

That's the thing about Apple. And I don't run into this often. They carefully define everything they want you to be able to do, and they usually get it right. But if there's something you want to do that didn't fit their plans...well, tough **** they make it impossible for you to do anything that they didn't foresee.

EDIT: Well apparently Windows Explorer can navigate to the phone and access photos (but that's all..nothing else).

iTunes is just awful. It's so frustratingly bad in design. What's wrong with just being able to drag and drop?

Plug into computer, select "connect USB storage," access files from my phone as if it's just another storage device. Simple, intuitive, no extra software required.

And seriously, 17 iTunes.

Add me to joining the tablet world. Purchased the ASUS TF300 32GB. If anyone is in the market for a tablet I suggest giving this one a serious look. It's the same price as the 16GB ipad and Samsung plus it's expandable.

bad ***. 4.0 ice cream software. blazing fast processing speeds. usb and hdmi ports. only had it for a week, so i am still customizing my tablet. im a big cloud guy, so dropbox and amazon can easily carry my music and files no matter where i go. Bump app works well too.
