OT: Went to buy Baileys for Christmas Dinner

We usually have it with coffee Christmas day. We've had Carolyn's in the past as well because it is half the price. Went to the liquor store today and they recommended something better than both. If you've never tried it give it a shot. We had it straight and in a cup of coffee this afternoon. It is excellent.

Don't know if they still sell it, but I've bought some at Costco under the Kirkland brand. I'm far from a connoisseur but it tastes pretty good to me and is a fraction of the cost of Bailey's. It wasn't in the liquor store at Costco, but just the regular part of the store. I think it was something like 13.5%.

Costco has really good prices on Liquor.

Let me know what you think. My wife and I enjoyed just drinking shots and she doesn't like bourbon. Try it over ice cream.

I used to sell coffee, and I’ll say, if you don’t like this (whiskey, coffee, wine, beer, liquor, 17ing tea or maybe even water) you haven’t found the right one yet. **

Bailey's was expensive even before this year's tariffs. There are so many other good cream liquors out there at lower price points. And I'm not even talking about the low quality Bailey's substitutes.

I think most of the price of Bailey's goes towards marketing.

You should try the pecan praline liqueur. That is my go to. With said inpla on trying the bourbon cream the op posted about

They still haven’t made anything alcoholic tea flavored that tastes worth a damn so I’m still drinking beer.
