Just a pedestrian gin and tonic as I fire up the grill. But the steaks a will be accompanied by a Jessup “Manny’s Blend”, pretty fabulous Napa Valley red. Steak and a good red = Nirvana!

Corona with limes is a fantastic summer time beer.
If you have to put lime in it to make taste good then it isn't fantastic. Start with a drinkable pale lager and add lime if that is what you desire. Corona...

Trying out Ashton Brewing today, the new brewery that took over Demented's space in Middlesex. Got 3 different crowlers. Liked their Aura - a Belgian Wit. Didn't love the Hop Dawg DIPA, was OK, but just not my style. Moving on to the Hop Garden IPA soon.

Picked up Flying Dog SPF1000 variety pack with Numero Uno (taste just like Corona), pool Hopping Ale (is alright, a nice ale for a hot summer day, hazy with a tiny bit of fruitiness...and the best imo Thunderpeel IPA.

Did grunt work today and took down a couple dead trees at my mom’s house. Then tried to clean my garage. Talked to my office and said I’ll see you all after the holiday if you want. Enjoyed Don Julio then.

I've tried limes in other lagers, haven't found one nearly as good.

I was digging the pool hopping, a little dry at the end, but I like the light fruitiness of it.

Yeah sours are very refreshing on a nice summer day @Jm0513 Normally I like the IPA's but the wifey who does not like IPA's but likes sours kinda got me into them. If you see any by NJ breweries like Icarus or Bolero give them a shot they are pretty good. :Beers:

I cannot drink an IPA either. I will try to check out what you mentioned...thx! I like the fruity ones. I guess they're fruit ales or golden ales? Again don't really know not really a beer kinda gal. I was sick of wine though. Lol Where is Bolero??

I believe Bolero has a tap room is in Carlstadt. A sour does not really have the classic beer taste def kinda on the fruity side. Bolero and many NJ breweries distribute throughout NJ. Just check for the sours next time your at the store, if you like what your drinking now you should enjoy.

Actually a great retrospective 2 hour show especially sadly given the passing of Luke Perry, who obviously was the coolest dude on tv to anyone who grew up watching this show.

Wow, Luke Perry special on next on this channel! Looks great.
I set the DVR.

Alcoholics need to show a little discipline.... a little class. Wait another 26 minutes and begin drinking at noon. That way you can say you were drinking "this afternoon."
Far from an alcoholic. Hahaha However this quarantine life definitely has me drinking more wine(and beer) I'm a 2 glass kinda gal :)I made a big breakfast and wanted a mimosa but went with coffee instead.

No AA for you. I rarely drank at home if I didn't have visitors but this situation calls for different rules. Usually I can go past the one or two drinks most folks have. But I find after a few weeks, that's really all I care to have.... the reverse of what I expected.

most expensive beer i've ever bought, $11 for an individual pint in NYC

Matricide by Nightmare Brewing
Imperial Stout with Coconut, Almond, Lactose, Madagascan Vanilla, and aged on Ecuadorian Cacao
15.1%

fragrance is insane, very smooth with a really nice almond aroma. Maybe I'll start adding a drop of almond extract and cocoa powder into my usual Milk Stout Nitro in the future for a cheaper version of this haha
