I've read mention of people using a friend or family member's Uverse information to watch content on their computer or mobile device. My question is, is this a legal practice that AT&T allows or is it stealing? I'm asking because the only void, since I cut the cable cord (no plans on reconnecting with any cable/sat provider) is sporting events (mainly Husker football games). Now, if the practice is a legal one, I'll be hitting up a friend or family member who has Uverse and asking if they would create a sub account. Otherwise, I'll be watching games at someone else's house or down at the corner bar.

They would never go after an individual on something like that. It's not worth the court cost on one subscriber. You'd only catch their interest if you were broadcasting the game on periscope or something of that nature. Even then they'd probably just shut down your account.

It is absolutely stealing. If you want the content you should be paying for it. Beav is correct, doubt you would ever get 'prosecuted', but must be looked at as stealing.
