First car I ever drove was a 1954 Olds that my brother had parked. Just drove it in the driveway, I was only about 14. When I turned 16, talked mom into buying me a 57 Chevy. This was in 1968, you'd think a car 11 yrs old would still be a decent car right? Wrong, POS.

First good car I had was a 1969 Roadrunner, 383 4 speed. This was around 1973, what I wouldn't give to have the RR back. Beep, Beep!

1980 Pontiac Grand Lemans

I had the only red one around, everybody commented on it being the only one they had ever seen. Everyone knew it was me when they saw it. Which was both good and bad.

1996 dodge caravan -- had 160k miles on it when I got. And drove it to 202k.

Used to be able to slide into the drivers seat in one jump with the door closed and the window. At the time, my girlfriend was super impressed with that feat.

Navy blue 88 Camry. 4-cylinder, 5-speed. Later tinted the windows and added a $3,500 stereo that could be heard for miles. Cared for that car like it was a Benz.

Became a man in its back seat. :sunglasses:

63 Chevy impala 2 door hardtop, white with red roll completes interior, 327/300 4 speed. Bought it in 1969. It used more oil than gas, but she was a looker.

Mine was a '69 Nova. Bought in 1979 when I was 16. Paid $500 for it, earned working at Fasig-Tipton in the summer.

1989 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition

Pretty much dead on this, but had factory rims. Would love to have another...mine got totaled about 2 years after I got it...rear ended.

I owned a 1985 VW Jetta. Charcoal-gray, 5-speed. Purchased new in Germany with US specs. Sold 3 1/2 years later while still in Germany. Drove it to France, Netherlands and UK via ferry. Below is a pic of the car with my Harley parked in front. I tried and tried and never could run it over 110 MPH on the Autobahn.
