That emu sucks. Fansville is better than the vendor tool with the knee brace. Dr. Pepper is gross anyway. At least the Boz is working.

Fansville is a good ad campaign. The emu is terrible. Is this some kind of trick question?
Fansville grew on me over time. One of the recent ads where fans give up on the season after the first play reminded me of our game threads for football and basketball.

Limu Emu and Doug is stupid but I still like most of those ads, too. Although I can understand why people would hate them.

Fansville grew on me. It was the transfer portal commercial that tipped it. Emu is horrible. Must be done on purpose to annoy people so that we talk about it bc come on it’s insurance we’re taking about here.

Fansville commercials are awesome! They always seem to have the pulse of college football fans and popular trends. Definitely a trick question.
Can't stand all the Liberty commercials. For that reason I'll never buy their insurance. Fansville is great!

Liberty Mutual doubled down on the awfulness when they worked in Liberty Bibberty dude into the Limu Emu thing.
I hit "mute" whenever commercials come on. I got tired of the same bad ads over and over again during the baseball playoffs. I pay attention to ads only when they include an attractive woman, e.g. the ad featuring Jennifer Garner during the baseball playoffs, but I have to look it up to remember what she was advertising!

Know this: every national commercial we ever see (and a whole bunch we never see) is thoroughly focus group tested with its targeted demographic.
Like all of us, I think a lot of commercials are dumb. But if I'm not in the targeted demographic, then they don't give a **** what I think.
Most advertising specifically does NOT target those of us "of a certain age". The reason is twofold. One, we are assumed to be less likely to be early adopters of new products. Two, for mature products, our brand preferences are assumed to be established and somewhat inflexible.

The little Dr. Pepper guy is Justin Guarini, who finished 2nd on the 1st season of American Idol (won by Kelly Clarkson).
He is shown "actual size" in the commercials.
The thing is that college sports became so absurd in recent years that the campaigns wrote themselves. The agency must have been like, “this is too easy!”
