Well, lets see, I have one Yeti, two Engels, and three green eggs so I guess that makes me the biggest idiot alive.

Not an idiot by any means. A materialistic fad-humping sucker, yes, but not an idiot at all.

I agree with most about the coolers. I bought a large 5-day 120 quart igloo or coleman (can't remember which) about 10 years ago. It works great and I was glad I had it when I lost power during Katrina. I didn't lose hardly any of the stuff I had while I was out of power. I keep deer meat in it for about a week and a half (to let the meat age) with jugs of frozen water. I have to change the jugs out regularly until the meat is completely cooled off but that has nothing to with the cooler. My cooler is starting to wear out but it has been abused and I can buy at least 5 more and still pay less than I would for a yeti.

However, I'm not sure I understand the hate on the costas. I have two different brands of sunglasses, one being costa. It is hard to find sunglasses to fit my fat head so when I find something comfortable I will buy them. The glass lenses on the costas are amazing if you fish. However I kept breaking them so I had to switch the plastic lens and they aren't anything special when you are fishing.

3 green eggs?

Yep, three. The first and original, a Medium used mostly for steaks and cooking for 2-4 people. The second is an XL, I had a built in gas grill that I never used because of the green egg so I took it out and the XL fit the gap left by the gas grill. I use the XL for smoking, butts, turkeys, deer quarters, or cooking for a large crowd. Also the XL makes a great pizza oven too. The third is not a BGE but a Big Steel Keg that stays with the camper or goes to tailgates because it is more portable the the ceramic grills as its stainless steel. I cook on one or the other 4-5 times a week and more during the summer. With a BGE and a BBQ Guru temp controler, you can cook anything from 200 degrees to 700 degrees, slow or fast. I get my moneys worth out of all three. "Not an idiot by any means. A materialistic fad-humping sucker, yes, but not an idiot at all. " A materialistic fad-humping sucker needs to be a sticker, I could put it under the Yeti sticker!

For 700 bucks you can get a Weber Genesis, designed and manufactured in the United States of America.

It's a fine *** grill.
